		<description>This is a very interesting article. I was just asked in an interview the other day, &quot;Are you aware of any studies regarding alcohol use and the affects on the brain.” My answer was simply, “No I’m not.” I went on to say that it’s commonly known that alcohol abuse does kill brain cells but to what degree I’m not sure. I did mention “Wet Brain” which is a term used to describe a condition where many years of hardcore alcohol abuse has the potential to produce symptoms equivalent to that of an Alzheimer’s patient.

This article suggests that alcohol does shrink the brain but I wonder to what degree? I know that everybody is different but I’d be curious to look at the data from these tests myself.
